Easter Kiddos

For the past two weeks, my home has turned into a zoo with baby ducklings, baby chicks and a little rabbit...all for spring mini shoots I was offering for two weekends. I want to make sure everyone knows all the little critters went to good homes and I am hoping the bunny is now a member of the family--I named her Cali, short for California ;)

So, here are my first "real" photos with my new camera. Are my friends beautiful or what? I am going to be a Free People photographer--you can bet on it. 

Test Shots

Here are the first few shots I took today with my new camera around the house! Later this afternoon I went to take some pictures of my lovely friends that I will upload shortly!

My bunny Cali (short for California of course) that I got for Easter shoots...but I am in love with her so I think she is a new member of he family. 

Inspiration of the Day

Tomorrow is a very exciting day because I am picking up my new camera in the morning- the Canon 5D Mark II! It has been my dream camera for a while so I am so excited to finally be getting it--tonight is going to feel ten times worse than Christmas Ever ever has!

Anyways, I have a bunch of senior portrait sessions lined up for the next couple of weeks and I ran across this portrait photographer today online. I am just hugely inspired by his photography since he specializes only in portraits, which is my favorite as well. Thought I would share some. You can see the rest of his photos in full size here.
