I want to share the kind words a client of mine posted on my photography facebook page--it just really touched me and sometimes I really need that positive reinforcement. I am so incredibly thankful for all my clients and the people who continue to support my passion for photography!

Luna // Siblings With Style
This is my first shoot with my studio equipment--external lighting and a backdrop--and I had two people in mind when thinking about my next creative shoot I wanted to do for the new Luna branch. Maggie & Teddy are two of the most stylish people I know and I wanted to take a different approach to a family/sibling shoot, using my studio equipment creating more modern and styled portraits--almost like a magazine editorial shoot. I was really pleased with the way they turned out and we are getting the black and white shot blown up for their house!
Whitney & David // Married
Here are some pictures from a recent wedding I shot at The Lazenby Farm--I was really pleased with a lot of moments I captured throughout the day and night. It rained by the time we were arriving at the venue to take pictures but after waiting it out for a little while it stopped and then the sun came out and with the wet grass and trees it seemed like everything sparkled and glistened...I guess rain on your wedding day really might mean good luck!

Luna
It is finally here! I have launched my new branch, Luna. The first picture describes what exactly Luna is. Like it says, these are personal shoots to really show my viewers another side of my work--what truly inspires me as an artist and keeps me going. I would love to get involved in the fashion photography world so this is my first step. I wanted this first shoot to really be whatever I invisioned, not caring what anyone would think and wanted it to have a shock factor, which I think it definitely did...sweet family and senior shoots to...vintage lingerie with cigarettes. I knew it was a risk but this whole shoot I invisioned just made my heart flutter thinking about doing it so it was one I was willing to take. I feel like Luna will help gain my work some respect in a totally different way...they are a bit more creative but most of all they are totally me...my thoughts, visions, love of fashion and art reflected into photographs. I don't expect everyone to understand them and quite frankly I like to be a little misunderstood but I hope everyone enjoys them! My next shoot in the Luna series is coming soon!
This quote comes from one of my favorite people, Cecil Beaton, and has really inspired me so much through the whole process of creating my new branch and showing my new work.
